The electrician, Jeff, was outstanding. Very helpful and solved the problem quickly.

We did a maintenance request for our central air system. John was very pleasant and gave us the results based on his analysis of the system. He arrived within the time frame and completed the process in about 45 minutes.

Quickly assessed the problem and came up with two solutions to let me choose. Went about their work and cleaned up after.

Called at 12am for an emergency electrical repair. The crew arrived within 2 hours. Needed a replacement breaker panel and was replaced by 1pm the same day.

Nick was great. Professional, very polite, asked me several questions times if I had questions. He came on a Saturday night when the only other plumber who would was the famous national chain. That plumber didn’t know what he was doing and left without accomplishing anything. nick knew exactly what was wrong and finished the job quickly without needing to test out a wall, like the other guy said would need to happen.

The bill was incredibly expensive, above and beyond the service fee for coming. I was shocked, but it’s what I get for requesting a Saturday night service. The only other thing I would say is that with the trips in and out and the guck he was dealing with, I wish he had disposable booties to put on his feet. He tracked nasty guck on his shoes everywhere, including the carpeted stairs.

There was a drain backup issue in my building. Devin from GEM Was called in about the water in my unit. The team arrived on time were professional got right to work. The larger issue, however, was with pipes that building management has to deal with. The whole team was good. The folks at the office I spoke to setting up the appointment. Everybody showed up on time. I would recommend them to others. And I’ll use them again if I am in need.

Our AC went out and we had a couple companies come out to give us a quote. GEM's was the most competitive and we had a new system within 72 hours. The work crew came out on time and was very courteous, gave excellent service.

UPDATE: Cameron went above and beyond with the least amount of inconvenience for him or myself adjusting the shut off valves for my rianni gas heaters that the city required. Very pleasant and was very informative.

We had 2 very old direct vent gas wall heaters replaced. Evan and Steve are the best. They explained everything and did a awesome job for never putting in these Rianni heaters . Kept me informed and answered all my questions and eased my concerns . Couldn't of asked for two better guys. The electrician and his assistant were outstanding with the fact the house was
built in 1925 with older wiring . Chen and his assistant installed 2 dedicated circuit for both heaters to run on and it works out great as now my air conditioner will run on the dedicated circuit this summer. Would recommend all of them for future heating needs .
We had the bathroom one downsized to a smaller unit with no issue what so ever even with them having to remove the bigger one they had put in they were happy to accommodate the issue

Aaron Neil was the plumber who made an emergency visit to do the diagnostics on a second floor AC unit that leaked into a bedroom ceiling. He was excellent, extremely thorough and explained all of the issues in detail. Excellent service!!!

GEM plumbing recently installed a ductless minisplit system in my home. The installers did an excellent job. They were extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and patient. They communicated with me every step of the way and took the time to answer all of my questions. The system is working beautifully. If you are looking for a contractor to install a ductless minisplit system, I highly recommend GEM plumbing.

I do wish it hadn’t been so expensive, but I will say I really did feel like my technician understood what he was doing. He was knowledgeable and professional. He explained things well and I’d be happy to work with him again.
