The air conditioner serving the second floor of my brand-new house had problems from day one. For months, the builder kept sending different technicians, each trying to fix one issue after another, but no one addressed the actual cause. As a result, the upstairs bedrooms became unbearably hot, and we often had to sleep in the first\-floor family room just to stay comfortable.

Eventually, instead of waiting any longer for another warranty visit, I called GEM Plumbing & Heating – and I’m so glad I did.

GEM sent a technician, Dory, the very next day. He quickly identified the real problem: a refrigerant leak. It turned out that the builder’s technicians had been treating only the symptoms of the leak, such as condensate buildup, rather than finding and fixing the root cause.

Dory returned the following day with the necessary equipment, and resolved the issue. The air conditioning has been working great ever since.

I only wish I had called GEM from the beginning instead of enduring an uncomfortable summer.

Two very nice, and helpful young men, came to my home. They were there to do an HVAC summer tuneup. They were quick and efficient. Moreover, they helped me move a couple of things as I am a 100% disabled vet who has had to have three right shoulder replacements..

Joan came out to determine the cause of our AquaCal Pool Heat Pump fault DPO ( defrost sensor code) upon inspection, he found that mice had chewed the wires in three areas. He patched the wires and we are up and running again. The Aquacal company couldn’t be here for over two weeks! GEM has a wonderful team of techs for all your needs. Used Gem for electrical issue (installation of 2 ceiling fans). Technicians were very good and job done well and they were able to do it in the time frame I needed which is why they get 5 stars. Price was higher than expected but again, job was done much quicker than from any other electrician
