Joseph (Junior) from GEM Plumbing & Heating came out to do a check on our HVAC system for this season. He was very thorough, knowledgeable, and honest. Our system is in great shape after 16 years. Thank you Joe!!! We were on a contract plan, which was very reasonable, so we paid nothing at the time of service.

Our tech was Joseph (junior), Incredible experience came out the same day.Billed me for the service. Exceptional diagnostics, developed a number of options to fix the problem. We called four other places.First three never showed one showed and walked away, without figuring anything out. Our A/C has been out for 6 wks waiting for people to not show up. YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST CALL GEM FIRST

GEM responded very quickly. I was out of state when my tenant called stating the A/c system wasn't working. I called GEM to see if they would be willing to help me. I didn't have an account with them but they were more than willing to assist me with my broken A/C system.
Nick the technician was very knowledgeable and worked with me while I was out of state and with my tenants. He articulated very well, explaining all the issues, what the repair process would involve and the cost. There were no surprises. My tenants informed me that Nick was terrific !
Nick got the system up and running. Overall, it was a very positive experience and I would highly recommend GEM to anyone.

Great service. Timely response and got the job done. It’s on the pricey side but that’s expected given their quick response time. Joe was particularly good and have had him out twice on our property. Thanks!

I had one of Gem Heating and Plumbing plumbers Christopher Rogan repair two broken gas line on an emergency basis. Chris was very professional, courteous and willing to make sure that the inspector was available once the job was completed. I was on a tight schedule to open the house. Gem Heating and Plumbing is a company that can be relied on.

Joan was very helpful – but his arrival was very delayed and communication was not great

They came over right away, diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Fast courteous service.

Chris from GEM arrived as scheduled and resolved a no hot water issue. I even got a GPS map for his truck to our location, and notified when he would arrive. No other company after several calls ( including one we have used for over 7 years would be able to help us for 10 days. With three women in the house that would not work.
Chris diagnosed and fixed our furnace which controls the hot water.
I will be using GEM in future for sure!

Jim was great! Pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. He took the time to give me a few options and explained pros and cons. I am very thankful for his input and careful work! He replaced and upgraded faucets outside and new hoses to my washing machine!

Nick was great! He was presented with an unfixable AC problem. I was so impressed that he found this little piece of broken plastic tha caused such a water leak. He was very helpful in explaining options and estimate cost. He also climbed high up on a ladder inside and out to clean my filters. I’m so thankful.

Employee was great. He explained what needed to be done and costs. Unfortunately, I had a leak in the AC line where it connected to a head unit on a system that I had installed by another company 4 years ago. All the refrigerant leaked out over that 4 year period. I feel this should have never happened and been found during their pressure test.
Anyhow, $3100 later, repaired. Just wished it hadn’t cost so much but not GEM’s fault. As far as the pricing, I have no idea.

They do excellent meticulous work. The only reason I can’t give five stars is through no fault of theirs. They found the gas leak, but it would require ripping out more walls, so going with an electric range
