So we had a major plumbing disaster that we discovered this morning. Another plumber we tried did not have availability all week. We called Gem and they came out within a few hours. They got right to the issue and diagnosed it. They stopped the leak, so that was a huge relief! Then they referred us to another person from their company who would follow up and take a look at the equipment to see if we need repairs or replacing.
That person is coming this afternoon.On top of that, we had damage to our walls and they recommended a second company that they work in tandem with who is coming tomorrow morning.
All this networking saved us a lot of time and frustration looking for people to solve these issues! Jim and Dan, who came today, were incredibly efficient, very good at communicating and also very pleasant to deal with. Plumbing issues are not fun, but they managed to make it easy and smooth and I am so grateful!
Also, here’s a follow up: Ricky also came and gave me the quote for the boiler and installation. He not only installs these types of equipment, but he also knows how to explain how everything works to the client. He did an excellent job telling me what went wrong and how to troubleshoot it in a way I could understand! He was extremely conscientious and made sure I followed his explanation carefully. Next the plumbers came, and Jacob did an incredible job with his assistant Steve. They were very respectful of my property. They got things done in a timely fashion. I now have heat which was a major factor in this whole incident. Another valve had to be installed on a different floor and a plumber took care of that. Then they sent an Electrician when it came time to install the thermostat. All of these contractors worked in tandem. Lastly, the people who came to clean up the house and make repairs on the walls were also in the loop and referred to by Gem. they also were very respectful and did a really good job in a time saving manner. Before leaving, the plumbers made sure that the new valve which was put in nor the old radiator were not causing any leaks so this wouldn’t happen again in the future So am through the worst with my new boiler working this morning. I feel confident that my old house is in good hands now. Thank you Gem and Cleanworks!

Absolutely stellar – Nicholas and Danny took care of us right away, super quick response, fixed us up and went above and beyond with a leak caused by a faulty fridge. Highly recommend!

Seamless replacement by Caio Mayer Even corrected defects from old installation ie acid condensate to a special pump. In addition electricians installed ground fault outlets and an arc fault breaker

Annual maintenance of my one year old air conditioner. Wonderful man made the visit. Everything is fine. Will have my brand new furnace serviced in the fall. Very satisfied with both furnace and air conditioner.

I had a power outage that resulted in pipes freezing and multiple bursts including the water meter, which required the town to repair.Alec told me what to do and returned to take care of the other pipes that had burst. He was prompt, explained everything and I’m very happy with GEM’s service.

Had a receptacle outlet put in outside very reasonable priced highly recommended this company will use again plug was to advanced for me to do all new wiring put in outside and explained to me thank you gem we’re safe and my house is too

Highly recommend GEM for all home plumbing and heating needs. We've contracted GEM for a couple projects, and service in both maintenance and repair scenarios, across trades. GEM's team is universally knowledgeable and courteous, and it's very nice having a single point of contact for multiple disciplines. They execute projects efficiently, with individuals that clearly take pride in their work.

Xavier is always professional and personable. He and his apprentice have been to my home twice now, and have been a pleasure both times.
