1
Contact Us
Call us first! We’ll schedule a call or visit with our experts to determine what upgrades you require based on your needs and what we offer. Then, we’ll discuss how you can maximize state and federal rebates and incentives.
2
Home Energy Audit and Weatherization
- GEM has partnered with the New England Energy Efficiency Company (Neeeco) to provide no-cost home energy audits to our customers. We will set up the audit based on your schedule, and an energy auditor will determine your energy use and rebate eligibility.
- To be eligible for an audit from Neeeco, you must be a customer of Eversource, Cape Light Compact, or National Grid. If you have another utility company, call us and we’ll advise you.
- If the auditor determines that you need any weatherization services in order to meet rebate requirements, Neeeco will inform GEM and perform these upgrades.
3
Installation
After the Mass Save® energy audit, you’ll decide what services you want, and we’ll make sure the equipment meets the rebate requirements. Then we’ll install it to Mass Save specifications.
4
Approval
Once installation is complete, a Mass Save inspector will come out and approve your upgrades. Once you’re approved, you can fill out the rebate submission form either online or on paper. Just be sure that the rebate form and supporting documentation is received by February 28, 2025. Upon completion, rebates will be sent to you in about 6-8 weeks.
