Great job. They know their “stuff”!

We had an emergency service performed on Saturday, the technician Chris was professional and talked me through everything he was doing. I’d rate his overall work on a scale of 1-10 as over 10 because he was that awesome. What gets me is the pricing of the service. As I mentioned it was an emergency, and as the customer I want an itemized breakdown of parts and labor. I just called GEM and they mentioned they do not provide that. I will continue to call until I get the satisfaction I want on full disclosure of MY billing statement the was paid for in FULL by MYSELF. I know GEM reads these reviews and I want my fully itemized bill for services rendered.

The GEM team, Richard (Rickey) and Gabriel along with the electrician were extremely professional. They cleaned up the entire work site with great care to ensure no dirt was left behind. Xavier was outstanding during the service call. happy and highly recommend.

Josue & Mike were the two technicians that came and did the work for our home. They were absolutely amazing and did an amazing job! Took their time to make sure everything was done right.

We were not getting heat from our boiler. It was old and not working properly. Richard walked us through a new boiler purchased. Thanks.

Update, The President of the Comapny Jeff, Stepped up and helped me get a maintenance plan. He also comped me $250 on getting the part replaced. We had a long discussion he understands my complaints. Says he plans on addressing them with his team. I normally would not do a negative review. Two years ago I had Gem install a $15,000 heating and hot water system. Within six months it was leaking and I called them for the warranty service. I was told the water was coming in through the walls and that the leak from the pipe was superficial. I have not had water in my basement since they stopped the leak but I paid the $150 rollout fee as they were good to me when they installed the product. Then they came out last year because my heat wasn’t working and we’re here for five minutes. Fix the problem and left said it was a switch issue. I had the same issue this year called them. I was told it was going to be a warranty issue and that they would be there between 12 and four. At 4:20 I called them and they said they were having a little bit of a delay and that they would be out soon. It didn’t arrive until 7:37 PM When they arrived, they said that it would be $150 rollout fee plus a diagnostic fee for them to check what’s wrong. I told them that I was told it would be a warranty service. They said that the warranty was only for a year and they don’t know why that was told to me. I called the office and complained talk to somebody who said they would talk to a supervisor and they understand my complaint and that yes they warranty is only for a year. I explained that I paid for a home warranty and I would not have had them come out if I was going to have to pay anything. They said they would have a supervisor call me then either that night or the next day and they still have still haven’t called me and it’s been four days. I called them yesterday to see if I could speak to somebody again and they said they would have somebody call me again. Nobody called. I myself have figured out kind of what From using AI and trial and error. The issue I have is they were fine when I was paying them the $15,000 to install the system. Didn’t stand by their warranty when it was clearly a pipe leak that caused the water in my basement. They made up a story about it being through my walls. Then when I was told it would be a warranty issue and mistake by their own person, they tried to charge me over $300 before doing any work to the product. You’re very cautious using them as they have a very good name, but that’s about it
