I called GEM because I wanted my ductless AC’s checked to see if they needed any service. Christopher Cennamo came and examined both units and said they were functioning properly but needed a cleaning to remove mold and dirt. The large unit is at the top of a stairwell so access requires a tall ladder. Christopher made the appointment to return to do the cleaning and also to determine why the larger unit was tilting off the wall. He returned today and determined that the larger unit’s mounting bracket was only attached to drywall and not a wooden stud. He and Brody Lott secured the mounting bracket to a stud, ensuring the unit is now securely on the wall. A thorough cleaning of both units was completed including removal of a mouse nest. Christopher told me how to use steel wool in the outside pipe cover to prevent mice from entering which I promptly did. Christopher Cennamo was very professional, thorough, knowledgeable and explained everything. The cleaning was expensive but worth it. Plus he didn’t charge extra to repair the faulty mounting issue because GEM had done the initial install and not done it properly. I highly recommend Christopher Cennamo for any of your heating and cooling jobs.

Took some time to get here but, The awesome technicians, were friendly and work hard to minimize costs and make sure the customer is satisfied. Surely a company you can count on.

He showed up on time, very polite and professional. Gave full and understandable explanation of what the problem and scheduled the fix for the next morning. While it was super expensive, it seems on par with others in the area for what needed to be done.

Douglas and Christopher came installed new insulation on the outside lines, cleaned the whole system And removed mold from the units and added a UV light Air scrubber in the attic. Nice job done by all.

Joseph from GEM did an excellent job with our semi annual HVAC maintenance. He explained exactly what he did and was thorough & efficient. Additionally he was friendly & professional. We are very satisfied with GEM overall.

So far, GEM Plumbing & Heating has been very helpful to us. We've had the maintenance membership for a little more than a year, and they come twice a year to service our heat pump, minisplits and tankless water heater. We're happy with their service, and their technicians are usually very friendly, respectful and patience with us, taking time to explain maintenance aspects of our equipment, as well as, giving us usage and maintenance tips.
UPDATE: it's been three years of the maintenance service and again, nothing but praises for GEM. Keep up the goo work!
