One of the best ways to pinpoint a potential problem with your drains or pipes is by using Gem’s Plumbing Camera Inspection Service. Gem plumbers have access to industry leading technology, such as our HD Televised Drain Lines system. We snake a small HD camera into your pipes to clearly identify leaks, cracks, blockages, and other damage. We use the same system to check our work and ensure the problem has been fixed. Our HD Televised Drain Line system is more precise than similar drain vision systems, and can pick up small details that would be invisible without an HD camera. We’ll even give you a copy of the video after!
How does a plumbing camera inspection work?
A professionally trained and skilled technician inserts a flexible rod with a high-resolution video camera on its tip into pipes from 2 inches to 36 inches in diameter. The flexible rod allows the camera to travel through the pipe - even going around corners. The camera transmits what it’s seeing in real-time back to the technician, allowing the technician to identify any potential leaks, cracks, or clogs. If your pipe has been penetrated by roots, is misaligned, broken, punctured, off-grade or corroded, our HD camera will see it all.
